Life is a long journey divided into phases, some longer and easier than the other. Some of these phases are so important that a single wrong step may terminate the advent of the others or disrupt totally or partially the expected outcome. The teen hood is therefore one of this most important phases where the lives of several precious destinies has either been pattern towards irreparable damage, while some manage to live with the scars for the rest of their lives. This stage is majorly characterised with self-awareness, Excitements of the internal and external changes, entitlement to some level of freedom and exposure which places a sole responsibility on the teenager to start making land mark decisions for the first time for himself, with or without the influence of parental guidance.
The decision making process should naturally be a hitch free process if man was exempted from the Adamic fall, but with this steering reality. A young boy or girl only has a thin chance of making a right decision. Most people are cut out to stand in for the physical and emotional needs of a teenager but most neglect the spiritual. They just simply believe they are too young to understand God or His will. But Satan has clearly proven the church, parents and society wrong with the exploits he has used them to achieve.
Satan has proven to us that guns in the hands of a teenager is not less deadly as when carried by an adult, He has shown us that sex in the hands or a beautiful teenage girl is a tool more subtle and dangerous than when in the hands of an adult. Satan has subtly used the innocence, inquisitiveness which is actually a deep hunger for the truth and enthusiasm to get the best out of life generally tagged as exorbitance to destroy these teenagers. Is that God’s plan? No!...To be continued
